Chief Accountant / Subsidiary of international insurance company in Moscow
Responsibilities:Setting up bookkeeping, insurance and tax accounting for a newly established insurance company - in coordination with HQ
General bookkeeping, documents flow, primary accounting control
Reporting to the insurance authority (FSSN), including calculation of insurance reserves
Reporting to reinsurers
Accounting and Tax reporting according to RAS, submitting reports to Tax Office and other authorities
Monthly Financial reporting to HQ according to Inter-Company standards
Financial budgeting and planning
Agreements checking
Payroll Management
Bank account management
Annual Audit
Compliance/tax checking for general activity of company
Other administrative issues
Requirements:Higher education (economy, finance)
DIPIFR (Diploma of International Financial Reporting by ACCA) is a plus
Over 4 years experience in insurance accounting / finance (top-30 Russian insurers)
Over 2 years experience as Financial director / Chief Accountant / Deputy Chief Accountant / Head of accounting in insurance
English – upper intermediate level
Management capability for a small team (2-4 subordinates)
Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of insurance accounting and taxation according to RAS
Good communication/explanation skill with tax office
Basic knowledge of IFRS
Experienced user of Russian accounting software
Ability to work independently, subordinate control, team-working
An inclination or desire to energetically and continuously work toward achieving success of company as a member of core management staff
Strong leadership, high motivation for innovation, responsible attitude as core staff of the company
Personal abilities: sociability, adaptability, initiative, frank and honest personality
